We are starting the new year with a deep dive into the daily life of the Regency era. Here is what is coming to the Library this month:
Fashion Plates & Descriptions
Plates and descriptions from the leading fashion publications of the day such as Ackermann's Repository and La Belle Assemblée among others:
July 1806–Fashion Plates with full descriptions and observations from La Belle Assemblee (2 plates); The Lady’s Monthly Museum (1 plate); Lady’s Magazine (1 plate) and the Magazine of Fashions London and Paris (2 plates).
January 1810–Fashion Plates with full descriptions and observations from Le Beau Monde (1); La Belle Assemblee (2 plates); Ackermann’s Repository (2 plates); The Lady’s Monthly Museum (1 plate); The Lady’s Magazine (1 plate).
May 1812–Fashion Plates with full descriptions and observations from Ackermann’s Repository (2 plates); La Belle Assemblee (2 plates); and The Lady’s Monthly Museum (2 plates).
